AQUARIUM ABYSSAL<\/p><\/div>\n

Come and visit La Cit\u00e9 de la Mer in Cherbourg, a family attraction all about man\u2019s adventures under the sea, and a must-see when you are in Normandy. You can spend the whole day there and go round \u201cTitanic, return to Cherbourg<\/a>\u201d, an exhibition which has is like nowhere else in France. It is on the theme of the celebrated liner, but also on emigration*. You will also be able to listen to the Captain of\u00a0Le Redoutable\u00a0<\/a>telling you about his life on board the largest submarine open to the public in the world**. You can visit\u00a0our\u00a017 aquariums<\/a>, including the magical, 11-metre-deep, Abyssal Aquarium.<\/p>\n

* When there is a cruise ship visiting Cherbourg harbour, the Emigration area will be closed to the public. The Titanic area remains open.<\/p>\n

** for reasons of safety, children under five are not allowed to visit Le Redoutable submarine<\/p>\n

Last tickets will be sold an hour and a half before the complex closes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To make the most of your visit,\u00a0we advise you to arrive at La Cit\u00e9 de la Mer in\u00a0the morning<\/strong>. Your tour around our theme park will be all the more pleasurable.
